How I Got Into the “Wellness” Business
As a physical therapist, I know all too well the effect that poor habits of daily living have on overall physical and mental health. One of the most frustrating things as a physical therapist is to hand out a home exercise program for a patient knowing that the real solution lies in a better balance between emotional, physical, social and spiritual wellness. The answer? We have to reach patients before they actually become “patients.”
How Does Readiness Group Meet That Need
Enter Readiness Group, a company that Brenda developed and I jumped at the chance to join the team. Together, we seek to help corporations and individuals find a perfect balance between personal wellness and occupational responsibilities…otherwise known as readiness. Life is hard. People get burnt out just trying to keep up with the daily pace. We teach simple, personalized strategies designed to improve mental and physical health in order to increase motivation for personal and occupational realities.
